Successful advisory to Abele Ingenieure on the sale to seele

SGP Corporate Finance successfully advised insolvency administrator Georg Stemshorn of PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH in the M&A process of Abele Ingenieure GmbH (“Abele Ingenieure”). The final award was granted to the strategic buyer seele holding GmbH (“seele”) based in Augsburg. Within only a few weeks, we were able to transfer the company to new ownership and secure a forward-looking solution.

As part of the asset deal, approximately 50 jobs will be preserved. seele will expand its “Automation” division through Abele Automation GmbH & Co. KG and expects strong synergies in the growing market of movable facade systems.

About Abele Ingenieure GmbH

Founded in 1973, Abele Ingenieure draws on more than 50 years of experience as a solutions provider in mechanical and plant engineering. As a full-service provider, Abele offers comprehensive solutions – from initial concept and implementation through to 24/7 after-sales service.

The company operates a manufacturing site in northern Augsburg and an engineering office in the eastern part of the city. Due to the Ukraine conflict and the resulting industrial recession, several client projects were not released and ultimately cancelled. Consequently, on February 13, 2025, the Augsburg Local Court initiated preliminary insolvency proceedings.
