In January 2025, Ahorn Group, based in Berlin, acquired the renowned Leo Kuckelkorn GmbH in Cologne and integrated the company into the group. With this acquisition, Ahorn Group strengthens its presence in the Cologne/Bonn region and adds a well-established brand that represents a modern and personalized funeral and remembrance culture, tailored to the needs of individuals.

Buyer

With roots dating back to 1830, Ahorn Group has grown into a nationwide funeral services network through targeted acquisitions. Today, the group encompasses more than 90 regional brands, approximately 300 branches, and over 1,200 employees. As a subsidiary of IDEAL Lebensversicherung a.G., Ahorn Group is the largest funeral service provider in Germany, combining tradition with a comprehensive service offering tailored to the needs of local communities.
