As part of a succession solution, Ahorn Group, based in Berlin, has acquired Petra Reuter Bestattungen in Bad Lauterberg and Herzberg am Harz. With this acquisition, Ahorn Group ensures the sustainable continuation of the well-established funeral business while expanding its local presence.

Buyer

With roots dating back to 1830, Ahorn Group has historically grown through acquisitions into a funeral services network comprising more than 90 regional brands, approximately 300 branches, and over 1,200 employees nationwide. As a subsidiary of IDEAL Lebensversicherung a.G., Ahorn Group is today the largest provider of funeral services in Germany.
