SGP Corporate Finance Advises PB Group on Sale to PolymerCycle, a Vidia Equity Platform Company

Transaction
The Vidia Climate Fund I (fund size EUR 415 million) has acquired PB Group, a technology leader in high-quality plastics recycling, through its buy-and-build platform PolymerCycle.
Consisting of PB Solutions GmbH and ATP Service & Consulting GmbH, PB Group has experienced strong and sustainable growth in recent years and is a technological leader in the analysis, processing, and separation of high-quality plastics. Together with BPM, acquired in 2023, PBS and ATP now form the nucleus of the PolymerCycle Group and ideally complement its planned growth strategy.
The previous sole shareholder of PB Group, Patrick Blessing, joins the PolymerCycle holding-level management team as CEO to play a key role in steering the group’s strategic development. At the same time, he will remain Managing Director of PBS and ATP.
“Joining PolymerCycle is an exciting step for us,” said Patrick Blessing. “Together, we will continue to develop our processing and separation technologies and offer our customers an even broader product and service portfolio — from unsorted raw materials to finished recyclates.”
