The publicly traded ESAB Corporation (NYSE: ESAB), headquartered in the USA, has acquired Bavaria Schweisstechnik GmbH, a leading supplier of welding powders and filler materials.

Transaction

The agreement signed in February 2025 was completed at the end of April 2025 after receiving the usual regulatory approvals.

For ESAB, this acquisition fits perfectly with its strategic vision of expanding its product range and global presence. Bavaria Schweisstechnik's expertise in the field of welding consumables and the submerged arc welding market will strengthen existing competencies and capabilities and offer even greater added value to customers of both companies.
