Successful investor solution for Uplifter – SGP Corporate Finance advises on international M&A process

SGP Corporate Finance advised insolvency administrator Daniel Barth of PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH on the sale of the business operations of Uplifter GmbH & Co. KG as part of a structured, international M&A process. The Luibl Group from Passau was secured as a strategic investor to take over the business operations.

To continue operations, Karl Bauer, owner of the Luibl Group, has founded a new group of companies that will operate under the name Uplifter Group. This ensures a sustainable succession solution for the specialist in lifting and transport solutions with over 20 years of market experience.

The rental and sales business, as well as all services related to mini cranes, vacuum technology, and glass lifters, will continue seamlessly for customers. The headquarters in Oberaich and the locations in Munich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt am Main, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, and Berlin will remain in place and will be continued by the Luibl Group.

The Luibl Group is a full-service provider for work platforms, construction machinery, forklifts, and telescopic handlers and has more than 1,000 rental units, which are now rented out from eleven locations. With the acquisition, the group is significantly expanding its regional customer proximity and market presence.
