Successful advisory for PB Group during its acquisition by PolymerCycle, a platform company of Vidia
The Vidia Climate Fund I (EUR 415 million fund volume) has acquired the PB Group, a technology leader in high-quality plastics recycling, via the buy-and-build platform PolymerCycle.
Transaction
Consisting of PB Solutions GmbH and ATP Service & Consulting GmbH, the PB Group has experienced strong and sustainable growth in recent years and has become a technological leader in the analysis, processing, and separation of high-quality plastics. Together with BPM, acquired in 2023, PBS and ATP now form the nucleus of the newly established PolymerCycle Group, ideally complementing its planned growth strategy.
The previous sole shareholder of the PB Group, Patrick Blessing, joins the management of PolymerCycle Holding as CEO, where he will play a key role in driving the group’s strategic development. At the same time, he will continue to serve as Managing Director of PBS and ATP.
